Norwegian rental company Nordic Crane Vest, part of Crane Norway Group, has taken delivery of a 650 tonne Demag CC 3800-1 lattice crawler crane. The CC3800-1 can lift its maximum capacity at 12 metres radius and take 110 tonnes to a height of 120 metres.
The company has also ordered eight Demag All Terrain cranes, including three 250 tonne AC 250-5s, two 160 tonne AC 160-5s and three 130 tonne AC 130-5s, which will be delivered throughout the year and will add to the company’s existing fleet of nearly 40 Demag and Terex cranes.
Crane Norway Group chief executive Trond Helge Skretting said: “As a leading supplier for crane rentals for oil, gas and wind turbine applications in the Norwegian market, Crane Norway Group has invested NOK 200 million in the last 12 months on new cranes, trucks and transport equipment to strengthen its position as a trusted supplier of lifting and transportation services in Norway.
The design and the long booms on the Demag cranes, as well as the service we receive from Terex Cranes after the sale, really contribute to jobsite productivity and a good return on our investment. We are pleased to relaunch this reputable brand to customers in Norway.” SOURCE: Vertikal.net
