With the help of the 10,000 tons Floating sheerlegs, Hyudai Samho Heavy Industries Co. managed to upright the illfated ferry Sewol, which was brought ashore last year March 2017.

The uprighting of the ferry should allow investigators to better search for the still missing 5 bodies.

The 6,800 tonne vessel that carried 476 passengers on board, capsized and sank in waters off Jindo Island on April 16, 2014, claiming the lives of 300 people, the majority being students and teachers.
