The Gottwald MK1500 crane can safely load Monopiles and Transition pieces onto barges and vessels
Their experienced and dedicated staff in combination with modern equipment (cranes , forklifts etc.) & well designed IT-systems ensures an optimal logistical expertise resulting in smooth and reliable handling of your valuable materials. Loading & unloading vessels, stripping & stuffing of containers, trucks and wagons is organized by our own (in-house) Stevedoring Department.
A large number of Monopiles are stored and can easily be shifted to the Gottwald Crane for loading on board by means of 2x18 axle lines of SPMT's
A set of Double wide SPMT's (2x18 axle lines) with a Payload of up to 1200 tons can easily shift heavy cargo around the Terminal
In 2012, BOW Terminal has invested in the largest fixed heavy lift crane of Europe (Gottwald MK 1500 crane), with 1200 tonnes lifting capacity. The availability of permanent heavy lifting capacity makes this terminal a perfect location for heavy lift cargoes and breakbulk projects. Our terminal is fully operational 24 hrs, 7 days a week.
Our key focus is long term commitment towards the offshore industry. We can provide the facilities and necessary equipment at a unique location for all preparative activities for final construction and maintenance of offshore parks. The availability of permanent heavy lift capacity makes our terminal also a perfect location for heavy lift cargoes. As we will be available for these activities in the long-term, we highly encourage intensive partnerships.
